We are proud to present a brief overview of the project for the supply, installation, training, and coordination of a comprehensive exhibition for multiple vocational equipment departments at the Vocational Training and Business Skills Center, which was implemented with distinguished execution and cooperation with the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
Project Overview:
This integrated exhibition was designed and implemented to serve as a modern educational and training platform, aiming to enhance the efficiency of practical training for students and trainees across various vocational specializations, in accordance with the international standards for which Japan is renowned in this field.
Main Exhibition Departments:
- Mechanics Department: Included a comprehensive set of equipment for training in general mechanics and advanced automotive mechanics.
- Carpentry and Woodworking Department: Equipped with modern and safe carpentry tools and machinery for training in wood crafts.
- Electrical Department: Furnished with training equipment for domestic and industrial electrical installations and control systems.
- Other Departments: Additional vocational specializations were catered to as per the agreed-upon plan.
Implementation Phases:
· Supply: Selecting and supplying appropriate equipment from high-quality Japanese and international sources, aligned with the training objectives.
· Installation and Commissioning: Installing all equipment and preparing halls and labs in a safe and technical manner, ensuring their full operational readiness.
· Training: Providing intensive training programs for the center’s instructors and technical staff on the use, operation, and maintenance of this equipment to ensure sustainability and maximum benefit.
· Coordination and Supervision: Coordinating all processes logistically and administratively with all parties, including the Japanese team from JICA and the local team, to ensure harmony and integration in the work.
Cooperation with JICA:
The project was implemented within the framework of a strategic partnership with the Japanese organization JICA, which provided technical expertise and consultation to ensure the methodology and equipment matched the leading Japanese standards in vocational training, adding a global dimension of quality and efficiency.
Opening Ceremony:
Under keen patronage and follow-up, the opening ceremony of the project was honored by the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Human Resources Development at the time. This underscores the strategic importance of the project within the state’s plans to develop the workforce and elevate the level of vocational skills among youth and stands as a testament to the fruits of successful international cooperation.
This project represents a qualitative leap in the practical training environment at the Vocational Training and Business Skills Center and directly contributes to preparing qualified professional cadres that meet the requirements of the local and regional labor market.
ALDamazin Vocational Training Center Development Project – Blue Nile State (A Comprehensive Strategic Project)
The Vocational Training Center in ALDamazin, Blue Nile State, is considered one of the strategic and large-scale development projects at the state level, aiming to bring about a qualitative shift in the field of professional cadre qualification. This vital project was implemented through a comprehensive process that included the supply, installation, training, and coordination of a fully equipped, integrated training center.
Scope of Work and Professional Fields:
The center was supplied with specialized, high-quality equipment covering a wide range of core vocational specializations, including but not limited to:
· Mechanics
· Carpentry
· Electricity
· Blacksmithing
· Construction
· And other vocational specializations.
Implementation Mechanism and Partnership:
The project was implemented in close cooperation with the institutions of Blue Nile State, reflecting the spirit of active partnership in serving local development goals. The execution operations were supervised by a distinguished technical and administrative team comprising an elite group of competent engineers, technicians, and workers. This was carried out in continuous cooperation and coordination with the Damazin Vocational Training Center Implementation Unit and its highly skilled, internationally trained technical team, ensuring the work was completed with the highest levels of precision and professionalism.
This center represents a fundamental pillar for building the capacities of youth and equipping them with high technical skills that meet labor market demands, thereby contributing to driving economic and social development in the state.
